RebbeSoul-O is an eighty minute one-man musical journey
which utilizes song and story to trace the real life odyssey of Bruce Burger,
a secular Jewish kid from Utica, New York as he searches for his musical
voice and, eventually, finds it when he forms the group, Rebbe-Soul, and
records ancient and modern Jewish melodies with a fresh, jazzy, world-beat.
RebbeSoul-O is a unique opportunity to hear Bruce, unplugged,
on stage with just a classical guitar. A light, humorous and dramatic show,
RebbeSoul-O
features Bruce playing acoustic versions of the tracks he has produced
in his studio with his seven-piece band. As he takes the audience on a
musical excursion, Bruce invites them to participate, and sing along with
him. So, don't miss RebbeSoul-O; it's a rare treat to get to know
the performer and the story of how he got to be the sound behind RebbeSoul.
Written and directed by Richard Krevolin, RebbeSoul-O is designed to
be performed anywhere. Synagogues, community centers, schools and auditoriums
are all perfect.
